Hear from Aditi Mankad and Elizabeth Hobman, Psychological Scientists (CSIRO) on the work done to consider the social and ethical aspects of bioengineering organisms to solve problems in health, agriculture, and the environment.

DAF: “Yeast and fermentation beyond beer”

DAF scientist Andrew Forrest will talk about the history of beer and yeast, and the novel applications of yeast and fermentation he and his team are exploring in the food space.

DES: “The role of soil in now and in our future”

Evan Thomas will tell us about present and future role of that thing under our feet, soil science!
