Will I get better?

Dr Bonnie Cheng (Postdoctoral Research Assistant, The University of Queensland)
"Will I get better?" is something most patients want to know. When there's no straightforward answer, how do you balance hope with realistic expectations while navigating uncertainty in these difficult conversations?

Bonnie is a speech pathologist with a PhD in clinical communication. She has been an invited speaker at World Science Festival Brisbane for ABC's Ockham's Razor show. Bonnie now works in forensics, an area she never knew she had a passion for.
