Festival Operations Officer

Festival Operations Officers are critical connecters between the National and Local teams in preparation for, and during the delivery of, the Pint of Science festival in Australia, held in May each year. Festival Operations Officers are responsible for liaising with, and supporting, City Coordinators and local teams, to develop and deliver successful in-person science engagement events. This includes supporting the organisation of events across the country, troubleshooting, and assisting the broader Local and national Festival Operations teams as required.

Podcast Officer

Podcast Officers is responsible for producing content for, and supporting engagement with, Pint AU’s “Pod of Science” podcast, to enhance and promote Pint of Science Australia’s science engagement activities throughout the year, including the annual Pint of Science festival. They play a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships with festival speakers, highlighting Australian research in a fun and engaging way, and supporting the public’s engagement with podcast content. 

Strategic Partnership Officer

The Strategic Partnership Officer is responsible for supporting the identification, development and management of relationships with key external stakeholders, including potential sponsors, partners, and collaborators. This role is critical to ensuring the financial sustainability and growth of Pint of Science Australia, as well as expanding its reach and impact within the science engagement community.
