We will hear from two researchers from La Trobe University. Brad Hodge will enlighten us about why sleeping is sometimes so much harder than it should be, while Kate Kelly reveals how chronic illness effects almost 50% of Australians with its effects going far beyond the physical.
The Challenge of Sleep: Why something so simple, is so difficult to do well.
Dr Brad Hodge
(Senior Lecturer, La Trobe University)
Sleep should be easy: get into bed, close eyes, don’t do anything, fall asleep. But for many of us, sleeping well is just as challenging as catching the proverbial sheep that we are supposed to be counting. This presentation will talk about some of the latest research about improving sleep.
