The growth of the total population and the decline of agricultural labor force means that improving the efficiency of animal and crop production, increasing total output through mechanization and intelligence in limited land and resources has become an important direction for the future development of agriculture.

Dr. Yongliang Qiao is a Research Fellow at the Australian Institute for Machine Learning (AIML), University of Adelaide.
