Prof Berk is an NHMRC Senior Principal Research Fellow and Alfred Deakin Chair of Psychiatry at Deakin University and Barwon Health, where he leads IMPACT, the Institute for Mental and Physical Health and Clinical Translation. He was listed by Thompson Reuters as amongst the world’s most influential scientific minds (2015- 2019). He holds grants from the National Institutes of Health (US), Simon Autism Foundation

Robert is a psychiatry registrar in Psychiatry and an advanced trainee in addiction psychiatry at Barwon Health Drug and Alcohol Services. He is also involved in a range of research projects through the IMPACT team at Deakin University, such as the TINA trial.
