Die Dunkle Materie: The Search for Dark Matter

The mystery of Dark Matter has puzzled scientists for almost a century. We follow the story from first inklings to the efforts to define Dark Matter and prove that it’s real. We will then look at some exciting Dark Matter sleuthing, happening near you in an underground lab in Stawell.
Karen McMillan is working towards her Masters in Science (Astronomy) at Swinburne University. Now ‘retired’, Karen has a Masters in Educational Psychology and an MBA. She is currently employed part-time as the Planetarium Coordinator at the Discovery Science and Technology Centre.
