Our homes are now more insulated and airtight than ever before, these changes in our National Construction Code were made to address energy efficiency but they have had an unfortunate dark side. We’re now starting to see signs of interstitial mould growth in new houses and we need to find out why! Take a peek at the mould and climate research being conducted at the Tasmanian Architectural Science Lab at the University of Tasmania.
