An industrial-chic creative community space in Newcastle that’s offered up A Pint of Science three years running. With a gigantic concrete bar in the centre, The Edwards food + drink offerings are *chef kissy fingers*. Share plates, burgers, bar grub, and more can be washed down with a wide array of beer, wine, cider and cocktails. We love The Eddies and we’re stoked that they love hosting Pint Of Science year-after-year. Doors open at 6pm, and the event kicks off at 6.30pm - but feel free to have a drink or nibble in the main restaurant if you get there early.

Paul Graham (Chief Economist Energy, CSIRO)
The energy sector is obsessed with understanding the future because of the long-lived nature of projects. So why do we get forecasts so badly wrong? What are we missing right now that might help us to navigate a better way forward?
